Professional Experience
John represents clients in the areas of probate and estate administration, litigation in Surrogate's Court (including will contests), and other elder law issues including estate planning and Article 81 guardianship proceedings. He has a large residential and commercial real estate practice, representing buyers, sellers, and commercial and private lenders. He handles complex real estate litigation matters including title issues, adverse possession, partition, fraud, and purchase contract disputes, and has represented banks, title insurance companies, and investors. He also represents businesses in commercial debt collection matters.


Memberships
John is a member of the Monroe County Bar Association and has lectured on Article 7 of the Real Property Actions and Proceedings Law (Summary Proceeding evictions). He is on the Board of the Churchville-Riga Chamber of Commerce and is an Officer, legal counsel, and long-time member of the "Ten Ugly Men", a local not-for-profit organization which has raised and donated funds to local charities for over twenty years.
